Richard Joseph Clark
Richard Joseph Clark, age 93, passed away peacefully Feb. 15, 2024, at Holly Hill in Newbury Township.
He was born April 8, 1930, in Akron, to John and Ellen Clark, one of eight children.
Richard was a Local 38 Electrician for more than 70 years.
He married Rosemary Elaine Millet on May 3, 1952, at St. Helen’s Church, Newbury. They were married for 68 years.
Richard truly lived life to the fullest, through the simple pleasure of enjoying his family, home and fishing whenever he could at the Lake Erie Islands. There was nothing better to him than frying up fresh caught walleye.
He is survived by a brother, William Clark; three children; Sandra Schaab (Joseph), Dick Clark (Denise), Stacey Castle (Charles); eight grandchildren, Joshua Schaab, Christina Osborne, Rich Clark (Dana), Ryan Clark (Erin), Emilee Latini (Dennis), Ross Clark (Angelina), Charles Castle; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Family, friends and others whose lives Richard touched are invited to Gattozzi and Son Funeral Home, 12524 Chillicothe Road, Chester Township, on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2024, to reminisce and support each other.
Visitation is from 10:30 a.m. until 12 p.m., with a service beginning at 12 p.m. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park of Russell Township.
