Margaret Letitia Gullo

Margaret “Peggy” Letitia Gullo (nee Greaves) passed away on Feb. 19, 2024.

She was born on May 24, 1937, to Florence and Joseph R. Greaves, in Georgetown, Ohio.

Peggy married Bill Gullo on Sept. 1, 1957. They moved to Munson Township in 1968 and raised their family there.

Peggy worked as a secretary for Chardon Schools for 32 years, at both the high school and the board of education office.

She is survived by her children, Melinda Wachtel, Mark Gullo, of Flagstaff, Ariz., Monte Gullo, of California; brothers, Richard Greaves, of Kirtland, John P. (Bernie) Greaves, of Chardon, and Alfred (Nancy) Greaves, of Adena, Ohio; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brother, Joseph N. Greaves.

Many will remember Peggy’s love for fashion and the vintage bridal shows she orchestrated using gowns from her extensive collection of bridal gowns and vintage clothing.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Feb. 26, 2024, at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St. Chardon.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 27, 2024, at St. Mary Church, 401 North St., Chardon. Burial will be at Chardon Municipal Cemetery.
