Coloring the World with Kindness
On Nov. 14, students at Cardinal Elementary School participated in an activity called “Coloring the World with Kindness.” They made homemade popsicles and selected one adult in the building to show appreciation and kindness. With Ms. Sarah, the students highlighted characteristics such as compassion, respect, generosity, nurturance and forgiveness.
Honoring Veterans
On Nov. 11, Cardinal Local Schools hosted its annual Veterans Day breakfast and program, honoring and recognizing over 50 veterans with a hot breakfast. While some students served breakfast, others interviewed the veterans as part of an assignment for their communications class. Several students greeted the veterans as they entered the building and escorted them to the cafeteria.
