William H. Jonath
William H. Jonath, age 79, of Huntsburg Township, passed away at his home Dec. 17, 2024.
He was born Aug. 12, 1945, in Cleveland, to the late Harry and Gladys (nee Spoonamoore) Jonath.
William graduated from Cardinal High School and received his bachelor’s degree in education from The Ohio State University.
Willam worked as an inspector for over 30 years at Lincoln Electric Co.
He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his grandkids.
William was a member of the Church of the Blessed Hope in Chesterland.
He will be sadly missed by his son, Robert (Brittany) Jonath, of Huntsburg; daughter, Brenda Newman, of Chardon; and grandchildren, Sierra (Keegan) Mominee, Jasmine Newman, Michael Newman, Brooklyn Jonath, Logan Jonath, Greson Jonath and Scarlett Jonath.
He also is survived by his sister Sandy (John) Burnette.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia M. Jonath, in 2013; brothers, John Jonath, Steven Jonath and his wife, Janice, sisters Judy Ross and her husband Tom Ross, (Evelyn) McGranahan her husband Tom McGranahan; and a brother-in-law, Bill Motil.
William will be laid to rest at a private graveside service next to his wife in Middlefield Cemetery.
