In his early years, he enjoyed spending time with his family, coaching his children whenever possible. Later, he enjoyed time with his wife traveling, golfing, telling jokes and playing excellent bridge with many different partners. He had a passion for gardening and loved singing songs to his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren (and anyone else who would listen), and talking on the phone.

Even in his last days he did whatever he could to put smiles on the faces of those around him.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Chester Township.
