Grandparent’s Day
The Geauga County Department on Aging and Geauga Park District welcomed seniors and their grandchildren to the annual Grandparent’s Day event, held at the Claridon Woodlands on July 30. The event drew in many seniors from across the county for a memorable day of nature, learning, laughter and connection. Guests enjoyed an educational program on monarch butterflies, games, and a traditional picnic lunch. The day ended with a bubble show by Dr. U.R. Awesome, whose interactive performance delighted attendees of all ages.
