Nancy Jean Koberna Adams
Nancy Jean Koberna Adams, age 79, passed away on July 22, 2025, in Middlefield.
In her final moments, she beamed a beautiful smile, letting everyone know that she had found her beloved husband, Joe, waiting for her in heaven.
Born in Mayfield Heights, Ohio, on July 14, 1946, Nancy spent her life devoted to her family, supporting her husband and their three boys.
She was a steadfast, supportive partner to her husband, Joe, who served in the military for 20 years. They lived in numerous states around the country and in Germany. In their time together, they raised a family and shared many of life’s adventures. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Nancy cherished her family.
Nancy was known for her gentle spirit, her unwavering loyalty to her family and a deep love of music. She spent many joyful years singing in choirs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe.
She is survived by her sister; sister in-law; her three boys; two nieces; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A gathering for friends and family will be held on Sunday, Aug. 31, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., with the memorial service beginning at 12 p.m., at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon. Following the service, there will be a time of fellowship with music, shared memories and a catered lunch, concluding at 2 p.m.
