Lunch with the Curator

The Geauga County Historical Society and the Geauga County Department of Aging are hosting Lunch with the Curator in the Auburn Church basement at the Century Village Museum in Burton. Guest speaker Chester Kurtz, from the Geauga Amish History Center, will explore the history, customs and daily life of Geauga County’s Amish community.

Junk in the Trunk
Auburn Township is seeking sellers for its upcoming Junk in the Trunk yard sale, taking place Sept. 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Auburn Park. The event is part of the township’s annual community celebration.

This & That Garage Sale

The St. Mark Lutheran Church Women’s League will hold its annual garage sale at the church located at 11900 Chillicothe in Chester Township.
Hours are Thursday, 5:30-8 p.m., with a $5 donation at the door; Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Admission is free Friday and Saturday. Proceeds benefit monthly community lunch and mission grants.
Kindness Sewing Circle

NPower Services hosts a Kindness Sewing Circle at Celebration Lutheran Church, 10621 Auburn Road in Chardon. The free monthly gathering is open to people of all abilities and provides a creative space for participants to craft fabric projects that benefit others in need.
