Book Sale

Oct. 11, 10 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.

Book sale entrance is at the back of the library. Books are priced at $3 per bag or two bags for $5.

Book Page Art-Monsters

Oct. 15, 3:30-5 p.m.

Make paper monsters out of recycled book pages to create a fun or spooky new friend.

Book Reading and Author Talk

Oct. 18, 11 a.m. to noon

Come for a storytime reading of newly released picture book “Mama’s Girls” by local author Kathleen Hoar written in honor of her late daughter-in-law.

The Changing Borders of Eastern Europe: A Guide for Genealogists

Oct. 23, 6-7 p.m.

Learn about how wars, treaties and other world events can change boundaries, politics and even a country’s name. Presented by the Western Reserve Historical Society.

Georgia O’Keeffe Painting

Oct. 28, 3:30-4:45 p.m.

Youth will learn about the life of Georgia O’Keeffe from Mary Ann Sedevi and create paintings inspired by her work.

Decorating Pumpkins

Oct. 30, 5-6 p.m.

Paint a pumpkin to take home for Halloween. Registration is required to ensure enough pumpkins are available.
