ROBBERY

Dec. 19
10:13 a.m., W. High St., Middlefield. Male in white Hyundai. Male had flares strapped to his chest. Demanded money. Late 40s. Heavy, stocky. Males was in all white. Padded outfit. They gave him money from register. Vehicle last seen eastbound on Route 87. See report.

SUSPICIOUS

Dec. 19
4:06 p.m., Hosford Road, Chardon. Caller returned home approx 20 minutes ago and discovered footprints in the snow around the residence. Also whoever was there made swastika emblems in the snow. Caller would like a report made for this. Deputy followed the footprints to Wellington. Deputy spoke with the homeowner who confirmed that his teenage son and his friends were in the woods. He was advised as to what was drawn and stated that he would handle the situation and show him the property lines. The caller asked that they do not come onto the property and was happy with the parents handling the drawings.

VANDALISM

Dec. 22
11:38 a.m., Wilson Mills Road, Munson. Caller thinks someone put sugar in the fuel tank of his Corvette. Caller believes there was sugar around his gas cap in November 2025. Now the sugar is gone and there is mouse droppings where the sugar was. That caller is going to take the 1981 corvette to an auto shop and have it tested to see if sugar is in the tank. Caller will call back if needed.

WEAPON OFFENSE

Dec. 19
2:19 p.m., Burrows Road, Ledgemont Elementary, Thompson. Caller is concerned because kids have been bringing pocket knives to school. The school is aware of it but he would like to make sure law enforcement is aware. He would just like a phone call. Student has brought a knife to school. One email was from Oct. 24 with a pumpkin carving knife brought in and the other was Dec. 17 with a pocket knife. He is waiting to hear back from school administration and Thompson Police.
