Students Spread Joy and Compassion

St. Helen School students participated in a special Prayer Partner activity during Catholic Schools Week, continuing the school’s partnership with local charities. The Prayer Partner program pairs older and younger students throughout the year to learn, pray and grow together.

During the event, preschool and fourth-grade partners worked side by side to paint and create Valentine cards for ill parishioners and the Sisters of Notre Dame, sharing messages of care, compassion and community.

Students Explore Astronomy

Fifth-grade students at St. Helen School participated in an astronomy program presented by the Geauga Park District as part of its binocular program.

During the visit, students learned about constellations, planets and the vastness of space. The engaging, hands-on experience sparked curiosity and excitement as students deepened their understanding of astronomy and the world beyond.
