Vincent Thomas Santell
Vincent Thomas Santell, 32, of Thompson Township, Ohio, passed away leaving behind a life remembered for his remarkable character, sense of humor and deep devotion to family.
Born on Nov. 16, 1993, Vincent was the beloved son of Mark Santell and Helen Santell (née Misiak).
A lifelong resident of Thompson, Vincent graduated from Ledgemont High School in 2012 and worked as a machinist for National Hydraulic in Mentor, Ohio.
Vincent enjoyed the simple pleasures of life and the outdoors. He loved four-wheeling, fishing and hunting with his father. Music was always playing wherever Vincent was and he especially enjoyed attending concerts with his sister and friends.
Those who knew Vincent will remember him as straightforward and strong-willed, yet full of a goofy sense of humor that brought laughter to those around him.
As the younger brother, he shared and cherished many memories growing up with his sister. He will evermore be a proud and devoted uncle who treasured every moment spent with his nieces. His time with them was something he deeply valued and the love he had for them was clear to all who saw them together. Family meant everything to Vincent.
Vincent is survived by his loving parents, Mark and Helen Santell; his sister, Danielle Santell (Zachary Gochneaur); his beloved nieces, Temperance and Johanna; and so many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2026, from 4-6 p.m., at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon, Ohio, where a service will be held at 6 p.m.
A graveside service will take place Monday, March 23, 2026, at 11 a.m., at Maple Grove Cemetery, 16337 Thompson Road, Thompson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to APSI Ohio or NAMI Lake County, Ohio, in Vincent’s memory.
Arrangements are entrusted to The Original Burr Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.burrservice.com.
