Chardon City Council approved an agreement with the Chardon Square Association authorizing a winter market community event April 9, following weeks of debate and uncertainty. The resolution passed 5-2, with council members Deb Chuha and David Lelko voting against it. First proposed in November by Abigale Blashinsky, the market draws inspiration from European Christmas markets and will feature vendor huts set up around the square.
