Mary Audrey Miller

She was born on June 8, 1928, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Adolph and Dolores (née Campbell) Miller.
Audrey was a lifelong resident of Northeast Ohio and lived independently for 94 remarkable years. Shortly before her 95th birthday, she moved to Chardon, Ohio, where she became a cherished member of the Mapleview Country Villa community.
Audrey will be remembered as a true kid at heart. She found happiness in simple pleasures, like playing Bingo with friends, breaking a few rules in the name of fun and indulging in her favorite chocolate treats.
Christmas and birthdays were her favorite holidays and she celebrated each with a sense of joy and wonder.
Her playful nature and warm heart were especially evident in the love she shared with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchild. To them, she was the “fun Grandma,” always ready to play games, sneak a sweet treat or engage in a carefree afternoon on the slip-and-slide—creating memories that will be treasured for generations.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Sheila (Charles Szanyi) Harvat, David (Amy) Harvat, Sara (Kristopher Climer) Marschall; her great-grandchildren, Madalyn, Taylor, Mackenzie and Ariel; and her great-great-grandchild, Annaliese.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Adolph and Dolores Miller; her daughter, Gail Ann Harvat; and her brother, William “Bill” Miller.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, April 27, 2026, from 5-7 p.m., at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon. A private graveside committal service will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted to The Original Burr Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.burrservice.com.
