Deborah Lynn Kulisek

Deborah Lynn Kulisek passed away on May 2, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born on July 24, 1975, in Painesville, Ohio, to John and Donna (née Rarick) Kulisek.

Following her father’s service, John and Donna married and relocated to Riverside, Calif., seeking a life beyond the snowbelt. Deborah later graduated from La Sierra High School in Riverside.

Deborah was a deeply creative and artistic spirit. She found joy in painting, ceramics, crochet and creating expressive works of all kinds. She had a vibrant sense of style and loved wearing colorful, expressive clothing. Her talent for crochet knew no bounds—she could make anything from toys and clothing to keychains and afghans.

Deborah also had a passion for cooking, maintaining an extensive collection of recipes and offering thoughtful, constructive critiques of every meal she encountered.

She remained closely connected to her life in California through her enduring friendship with Heather, which she cherished deeply.

Deborah is survived by her parents, John and Donna Kulisek; brother, Ed (Kristi) Kulisek; her nephew, Kyle (Brianna) Kulisek; and her great-niece, Mia Kulisek.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday May 8, 2026, at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon, Ohio, from 4-6 p.m., with a memorial service to immediately follow at 6 p.m.

Arrangements are entrusted to The Original Burr Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.burrservice.com.
