Allison Lee Horna
Allison Lee “Bub” Horna passed away on May 6, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of love, friendship and cherished memories.
Born on Nov. 23, 1980, to John and Marybeth (née Kacica) Horna, Allison lived in the Chardon area her entire life and touched countless lives with her warmth and joyful spirit.
She brought happiness wherever she went and had a remarkable gift for making friends. A true social butterfly, Allison loved music and dancing, especially at church, where she was involved in Bible study groups. She also enjoyed going to movies, plays and concerts with her dear friend Jennifer and spending time with those she loved.
Though she left us too soon, she will always be remembered in our hearts and as our brightest little ‘star’ in the sky.
She graduated from Chardon High School and proudly completed her associate’s degree at Lakeland Community College in 2024.
She is survived by her loving parents, John and Marybeth Horna, of Chardon, Ohio; and her brother, John J. Horna, of Richmond, Va. She also leaves behind her cherished Aunt Cindy Kacica, Aunt Sharon McDerment and her cousin Jenna Dobrzeniecki; and many more cousins and dear friends.
Visitation will be held May 12, 2026, from 6-8 p.m., at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon.
A Christian Church Service celebrating Allison’s life will be held at 11 a.m. May 13, 2026, at Morning Star Friends Church, 12550 Ravenna Road, Munson Township, Ohio.
