KMS Students Of Month
Kenston Middle School is pleased to announce their Students of the Month.
Students selected for Student of the Month honors were sixth-graders Alex DeSanto, James Keszenheimer, Isabel Meister and Anna Rini; seventh-graders Chloe Boutton, Jimmy Burg, Brian Lesko and Corenna Maynard; and eighth-graders Geena Badalamenti, Kaylee Mejac, Lauren Obman, Jeren Schroeder and Spencer Zak.
All Academic
Congratulations to the students who earned All Academic honors for 2012-13 winter sports. To be selected for the award, students must have a cumulative average after seven semesters of 3.25 GPA or better and have lettered in their sport for two years.
Basketball student athletes were Sam Coverdale, Rebecca Deuley, Mandy Marchant, Grace Moran, Catherine Rachek and Tara Teeples. Gymnasts Brittany Pike, Marina Robertson, Erica Savin and Lauren Serafino were honored.
Student athletes playing ice hockey earning All Academic honors were Ben Kinney, Ryan Malik and Rachel Mangan. Cheerleaders Kaitlyn Kraus, Eve O’Brien and Molly Reeb were honored with All Academic awards. Wrestler Nate Lewis earned All Academic honors.
Capital Chordsmen In Concert April 5
On Friday at 7 p.m., the Capital University Chordsmen under the direction Mr. Craig Courtney will perform at free concert in the Kenston High School auditorium, 9500 Bainbridge Road. The Chordsmen ensemble is over 70 voices strong and regularly performs a variety of sacred and secular choral.
Tickets On Sale For “Hello, Dolly!”
Kenston Center Stage will present “Hello, Dolly,” an ebullient and irresistible story of the joy of living, glittering with happy songs, shining with loving scenes, alive with the personality of one of the most fabulous characters on the musical stage – Dolly Gallagher Levi. The show features classic musical numbers, including “Put On Your Sunday Clothes,” “Ribbons Down My Back,” “Before the Parade Passes By,” “Elegance,” “It Only Takes A Moment” and “So Long, Dearie.”
Online tickets are available through the Kenston High School website. Reserved tickets are available for $8 or $14 for the shows April 19 and 20 at 7 p.m. or April 21 at 2 p.m.
