Taking A STAND
“Engaging,” “captivating” and “real” were words Kenston Middle School students used to describe Justin Bachman. Kenston’s STAND (Students Taking A New Direction) Committee invited Solon High School 10th-grader Justin Bachman to address students on importance of creating tolerant and accepting environments.
Justin and his family created a non-profit organization called Honor Good Deeds, which connects people with opportunities to become involved and connect with their community. His presentation was part of the district’s PEAK (Peaceful Environment at Kenston) initiative.
