Bainbridge/Chagrin AARP
The Bainbridge/Chagrin AARP 4527 will meet at 1 p.m. Oct. 7 at the Bainbridge Town Hall, 17826 Chillicothe Road.
The program includes a performance by Tom Todd, a one-man band, followed by a brief meeting. Desserts will be served.
The final trip of the year is to Seneca Allegheny Casino in Salmanca, N.Y., on Oct. 22. Cost is $37 with a $20 slot bonus and $5 food bonus. A few seats are left; call Skip Ference at 440-338-3607 for reservations.
The group’s holiday party will be Dec. 2 at 1 p.m. at Sun Valley Party Center, 10000 Edwards Lane in Auburn Township. Tickets will be on sale at the October meeting or call Betty Scholz at 440-338-8321. The buffet dinner with dessert is $18 for members and $20 for nonmembers. Reservation deadline is Nov. 18.
Congratulations go out to chapter member Carol Malz and her sister, Marion Howard. They were recognized at The Great Geauga County Fair for retiring from the Geauga County Fair Band after 40 years.
The group is still collecting items for Food For Friends food pantry.
