‘Oliver’ Benefits WomenSafe

The Nov. 30th matinee performance of “Oliver!” at the Chagrin Valley Little Theater is a benefit hosted by Friends of WomenSafe.

Curtain time is 2 p.m. The lobby will open at 1 p.m. for a Chinese auction. Complimentary refreshments will be served during intermission.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for children 10 and under. The theater party is made possible through the generosity of Junction Auto Sales.

“Oliver!” is a British musical, with music and lyrics by Lionel Bart. The musical is based upon the novel “Oliver Twist” by Charles Dickens.

Valley Arts Center Hosts GANG

On Nov. 18, the Geauga Arts Network Group program will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Valley Arts Center, 155 Bell St. in Chagrin Falls. Valley Art Center’s executive director Mary Ann Breisch will provide a guided tour of the 43rd annual Juried Art Exhibit. In her role as gallery director, Breisch will share backstories about the art and artists featured in the show.

The educational program is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.

Valley Art Center’s Juried Exhibit had its formal opening on Nov. 7. It will remain open to the public through Dec. 17. For more information about the Center and the exhibit, visit www.valley-artcenter.org.
