Rotary Club Offers $2,000 Scholarships
The Rotary Club of Burton-Middlefield is offering a $2,000 scholarship to one graduating high school senior each who is attending Newbury, Berkshire or Cardinal high schools.
The Rotary Club of Burton-Middlefield is offering a $2,000 scholarship to one graduating high school senior each who is attending Newbury, Berkshire or Cardinal high schools.
The graduating senior chosen from each of the high schools can be planning to go to college or a trade or technical school.
Rotary is the largest humanitarian service organization in the world. Its motto is “Service above Self.”
The purpose of the scholarship awards is to assist those students who share the same value of service that all Rotarians share.
Deadline for submitting an application is April 20.
To obtain an application, interested students may get one from their Guidance Counselor at their high school or request an application from Christina Livers, Burton-Middlefield Rotary scholarship chair, by emailing clivers@juno.com.
