A Geauga County Sheriff’s Office deputy stopped a vehicle for speed in Middlefield Township on May 28.
The deputy observed several drug indicators in the vehicle and the driver, Gavin T. Pinkert, 23, from Geneva, admitted to having marijuana in the vehicle.
Deputies searched the vehicle, locating more than 250 hits of LSD, two vials of LSD, a bag of DMT (a strong hallucinogenic drug), marijuana “dabs” (a new type of cannabis concentrate) and cocaine.
Jacob D. Bland, 20, of Ashtabula, and Pinkert were arrested for felony possession of drugs.
Another passenger, Ryan J. McBride, 20, of Conneaut, was arrested for underage possession of alcohol.
After deputies transported the three to the Geauga County Safety Center, Bland removed a bag of cocaine from his underwear.
All three males were arraigned in Chardon Municipal Court and their cases sent to common pleas court for future prosecution.
