Thank You, Donors —
The Kiwanis Club of Chardon would like to thank everyone who donated to the food drive during the Concert in the Park on June 19.
With the help of caring community members we were able to gather food and over $100 in donations that were donated to the Pilgrim Christian Church Food Pantry.
It was a great pleasure to be sitting at the collections table and watching everyone come up. The generosity of our community can clearly be seen.
The club will again be accepting donation during the Aug. 7 Concert in the Park on Chardon Square, from 7-9 p.m. Donations can be brought to the donation table and can include non-perishable food items, toiletries and cash.
All donations will be given to the food pantry at the Pilgrim Christian Church.
The club encourages you to come out to donate and enjoy the Northern Comfort Band, who will be performing some good old country music.
