‘School House Rock’ Live At GLTG

July 30-31, Aug. 1

It’s new to the kids, but their parents will remember the songs. “School House Rock” was once a fun television show with catchy songs that taught subjects from math to science to politics without the singers even realizing it.

The stage musical is now being performed by the tween summer workshop at Geauga Lyric Theater on Thursday and Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m., directed by Karen O’Baker Porter.

A new teacher is nervous for his first day of class, but the television and his imagination help him to come up with fun ways to learn with music. “Conjunction Junction” and many other familiar songs will make the production fun to watch.

Tickets are only $6 and can be purchased at the door, at the GLTG box office, by phone at 440-286-2255 or online at www.geaugatheater.org.
