The Geauga County General Health District offers free walk-in immunization clinics for children and adolescents through the age of 18.

Bloodmobile
American Red Cross blood donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good health.
The Red Cross is facing a looming shortage of the blood types most needed by patients and is calling on eligible donors with O negative, B negative and A negative blood to give now to prevent an emergency situation. Platelet donors and those with type AB blood are also continually needed.

Dr. Ted Peterson, a board certified podiatrist and instructor in podiatry surgery at University Hospitals and Cleveland Clinic, will talk about easy ways to take care of one’s feet at Hamlet Atrium, 200 Hamlet Hills Drive, Chagrin Falls. Most insurance companies now cover podiatry visits.
Free and open to the public, the program includes door prizes and refreshments.

NAMI Speaker Meeting
Sept. 23, 6:30 p.m.
Bethany and Karen Yeiser will be the guest speakers at the NAMI Geauga County educational speaker meeting at Notre Dame Educational Center, 13000 Auburn Road, Chardon.
They will walk through their personal experience with schizophrenia and discuss the struggles families go through when a loved one is diagnosed with a serious mental health or addiction disorder.
