RESOLUTION
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Chardon, duly passed and/or adopted the following legislation:

RESOLUTION NO. 17-15
A RESOLUTION TO AMEND RESOLUTION NO. 26-13, WHICH DECLARED  THE NECESSITY OF REPAIRING AND RECONSTRUCTING CERTAIN SIDEWALKS IN THE CITY OF CHARDON AND REQUIRING ABUTTING PROPERTY OWNERS TO DO THE WORK, AND, IF NOT DONE, AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF CHARDON TO REPAIR OR REPLACE THE SIDEWALKS AND ASSESS THE COST TO THE PROPERTY OWNER; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
A resolution to amend Resolution No. 26-13, to include the sidewalk abutting the parcel with an address of 120 Court Street, requiring the property owner to do the work and, if not done, authorizing the City of Chardon to repair or replace the sidewalk and assess the cost to the property owner.

RESOLUTION NO. 18-15

A resolution of necessity to repair and reconstruct certain sidewalks in the City of Chardon and requiring abutting property owners to repair or replace sidewalks; providing notice to property owners; authorizing repair or replacement of sidewalks if the owner does not do so and, in certain cases, providing for assessment of cost to the owners real estate tax bill.

RESOLUTION NO. 19-15
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE OFFICIAL INTENT AND REASONABLE EXPECTATION OF THE CITY OF CHARDON ON BEHALF OF THE STATE OF OHIO TO REIMBURSE ITS INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR THE MAPLE AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS (OPWC PROJECT NUMBER CG21S/CG22S) WITH THE PROCEEDS OF TAX EXEMPT DEBT OF THE STATE OF OHIO.
A resolution declaring that the City of Chardon will reimburse its Infrastructure Improvement Fund for the Maple Avenue Improvements (OPWC project Number CG21S/CG22S) with the proceeds of tax exempt debt of the State of Ohio.

ORDINANCE NO. 2889
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT/AGREEMENT WITH E. H. SUTTON INSURANCE AGENCY, INC. FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING INSURANCE CONSULTING SERVICES AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
An ordinance authorizing the City Manager to enter into a one year contract with E. H. Sutton Insurance Agency, Inc. to provide insurance consulting services in the amount of $3,500 commencing October 1, 2015.

ORDINANCE NO. 2890
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A TWO YEAR LEASE AGREEMENT WITH LEADERSHIP GEAUGA COUNTY, AN OHIO NON-PROFIT CORPORATION, FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 103 SOUTH STREET, SUITE 1, CITY OF CHARDON, OHIO, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
An ordinance authorizing the City Manager to enter into a lease for two years with an option to renew for one year with Leadership Geauga County for property located at 103 South Street, Suite 1, Chardon, Ohio at a total rental of $12,730.80 for the term.

ORDINANCE NO. 2891
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXTEND THE LEASE OF GEAUGA LYRIC THEATRE GUILD, AN OHIO NON-PROFIT CORPORATION, OF THE PREMISES AT 106 WATER STREET FOR AN ADDITIONAL YEAR, UNTIL DECEMBER 31, 2025 AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
An ordinance authorizing the City Manager to extend the lease to Geauga Lyric Theatre Guild at 106 Water Street for an additional year, until December 31, 2025.

ORDINANCE NO. 2892
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A LICENSE WITH PHILIP A. HLABSE TO ERECT A SUBDIVISION IDENTIFICATION SIGN WITHIN THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY AT 300 IRMA DRIVE AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
An ordinance authorizing the City Manager to execute a license with Philip A. Hlabse to erect a subdivision identification sign within the public right-of-way at the intersection of Irma and Hilltop Drives and abutting 300 Irma Drive.
