County Offers Flu Shots
Geauga County Health District will provide flu shots for anyone over 19 years old from 8:30 to 11 a.m. every Friday, Oct. 2 through Oct. 30, at 470 Center St., Building 8, Chardon.
The health district is able to bill most Medicare and employer health plans. The cost to individuals paying in cash is $35, or, for high-dose vaccine, $50.
No appointment is necessary, but residents may register at the health district at 440-279-1950.

Depression Screening Day
Oct. 8, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The Geauga County Board of Mental Health and Recovery Services is recognizing Oct. 8 as National De-pression Screening Day, which is held annually as part of Mental Illness Awareness Week.
Free screenings will be provided for children and adults at Ravenwood Mental Health Center, 12557 Raven-wood Drive, Chardon.
Screenings can be done for depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder or post-traumatic stress disorder. Walk-ins are welcome or call 440-285-3568 for an appointment.
