Camp Celebrates 75 Years
4-H Camp Whitewood in Windsor Township to hold celebration on March 5.
Camp Whitewood, 7983 S. Wiswell in Windsor Township, will hold its 75th anniversary celebration on March 5 with a catered dinner, live music and silent and live auctions.
“We will be celebrating 75 years of commitment to fostering a safe, fun, engaging and positive environment for children to learn and grow,” wrote Huck Ford, the camp’s director. “We are looking forward to the next 75 years.”
The event begins at 5 p.m. and includes appetizers, open beer and wine bar, a catered dinner, as well as entertainment. The cost is $35 and all proceeds from ticket and auctions sales go toward maintaining and improving the facilities and overall programs at Camp Whitewood.
