Burton Library Kings Chess Champs
K-8th tournament resurrected
The Burton Public Library chess tournament (K – 8th) was resurrected this year thanks to Dr. Ed Martin, of St. Helen Catholic School, with assistance from long-term chess leader Jim Wohlken.
There were 18 participants.
First Place: Isaac Burden, Bethel Baptist School.
Second Place: Zachary Berman, St. Helen Catholic School.
Third Place: Alex Mulacek, St. Helen Catholic School.
Fourth Place: Gregory Wenner, St. Helen Catholic School.
