Joyce a Proven Leader

I strongly endorse Dave Joyce as the Republican candidate and for reelection as our representative from the 14th U.S. House District.

Dave has a proven track record of success and has consistently demonstrated the values, integrity and commitment expected from our representative in Congress.

Dave’s experience, aptitude and optimism for a better future, coupled with his realistic approach in dealing with the challenges our nation faces, make him the right person to represent our district. Dave never comprises his strong core values, but knows the importance of bringing leaders and competing interests together to avoid gridlock and find common ground for the greater good.

Dave is a fiscal conservative and serves on the Appropriation Committee and is a member of the subcommittee for Military Construction, Veterans Affairs and related agencies.

He has also sponsored bills including the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative Act and has co-sponsored a wide array of bills and resolutions addressing national security, building a strong economy, protecting first amendment rights, Medicare fraud prevention and reform, no budget no pay for Congress, food safety, accelerating the end of breast cancer, having safe streets, helping families in mental health crisis, and ensuring seniors access to local pharmacies.

Dave is a proven leader and is best suited to represent our district in the 115th Congress. I urge you to join me in voting to re-elect Dave Joyce as our representative from the 14th U.S. House District.

Elect David Ondrey for Judge

I live in Bainbridge Township. I have supported various candidates over the years. I know David Ondrey, Republican candidate for the Common Pleas Court and I want to offer my thoughts about him.

I have known David as a friend, lawyer and schoolmate. He has represented me on various matters over the years. I always received thoughtful and judicious advice. I appreciated his low key approach, his ability to explain and communicate the issues, and his unwavering support. I know he has also served his county well through his activities on various volunteer boards and as law director for several communities.

I see him now as a seasoned veteran of the legal field, comfortable in the courtroom, ready to take the next step as serving as our judge. Everything I know about him suggests he will be a great judge. Everything about his lifestyle and achievements matches well with honest and conservative values.

I urge my fellow Geauga County neighbors to vote for David Ondrey on March 15 in the Republican Primary.

No to Joyce, Yes to Lynch

Dave Joyce’s false statements against Matt Lynch are getting more and more desperate as voters become more acquainted with how conservative Republican Matt Lynch is and how liberal Dave Joyce’s record proves him to be.

No matter what Joyce says out of desperation, his voting record states loudly that he is failure as a conservative. His big government spending record is there for all to see. As a result of his poor record, the Heritage Foundation gives Joyce a conservative rating of 45 percent (www.heritageactionscorecard.com), Conservative Review gives him a conservative grade of F (www.conservativereview.com), FreedomWorks 50 percent (www.freedomworks.org) and American Conservative Union 48 percent (http://acuratings.conservative.org).

You can see the details of how he voted at all of these sites.

On the other hand, among other things, Matt Lynch’s conservative voting record shows that he sponsored the Heartbeat Bill (i.e. life starts in the womb), the American Laws for American Courts bill and a law forbidding driver’s licenses for illegal immigrants.

He has gained the endorsement of many conservative organizations such as Citizens United as a result of his great conservative record.

If you want to be represented by a man truly dedicated to limited government and the rights enumerated in the Constitution, vote for the true conservative, Matt Lynch.

Support Ondrey for Judge

As the Mayor of South Russell Village until the end of last year, I know Republican judge candidate David Ondrey very well.

During my 12 years as mayor, David served us as village solicitor. I routinely conferred with him on legal issues for the community and was grateful for his sound guidance at all council meetings and other village meetings. He was rarely absent and thoroughly invested in the well–being and good governance of this village.

With such extensive exposure to him for many years, I can attest to his readiness to serve as a judge for all of Geauga County. I think his resume is deeper and broader than all the other candidates, all of whom I also know and respect. I hope they maintain their interest in public service, but for this election, I urge you to vote for David. His peers in the Geauga Bar Association awarded him outstanding results in its recent poll of its members. Better results than anyone else. I agree with the 92 percent of his fellow attorneys who evaluated him as either highly recommended or recommended. Let’s elect David Ondrey on this March 15 in the Republican Primary.

Lennon for Geauga

As a 40-year resident of Geauga County I am excited to have a new and vital candidate vying for County Commissioner.

I have known Tim Lennon and his family for many years. I am aware of Tim’s ability to operate a successful business in Geauga County with solid fiscal values. He is a devoted family man with conservative ideals.

Tim will make sound decisions that benefit the people of Geauga County and unite its Commissioners to address the needs of our county.

A vote for Tim Lennon is a vote for Integrity.

Choose Matheney for Judge

Mary “Bridey” Matheney should be our next Geauga County Court of Common Pleas Judge. There I said it!

For the better part of the last decade, Matheney has served as legal counsel to my office, the Geauga County Treasurer’s Office. Matheney is an effective and efficient attorney. She returns phone calls promptly, researches issues thoroughly, and answers questions and proposes practical solutions. You’d think the treasury is her only client, but that is far from the case.

Matheney is not just a great attorney. (Is that an oxymoron?) She is committed to public service and does not have a personal agenda. When asked to serve in the Ohio House of Representatives as the state representative for all of Geauga County, she did not hesitate and served us, her constituents, well. She quickly learned the role — so much so that she was asked to serve on three committees in the Ohio House. When she returned to the prosecutor’s office, I know all of her clients were happy to have to her back as their counsel, none moreso than me.

Matheney has the right mix of litigation experience, research and writing experience, and prosecutorial experience that not only qualifies her for the court of common pleas judge seat, but makes her the most qualified of all the candidates. She has what it takes to be a successful court of common pleas judge and has the ability to serve more than just one term as a Geauga County judge. On March, 15, 2016, please join me in supporting Mary Brigid Matheney for judge of the Geauga County Court of Common Pleas.

Vote for Joyce, Keep America Safe

After 30 years of military service, I have retired and settled in Geauga County. As a foreign security professional, I am asking for my friend’s and neighbor’s support to vote for Congressman Dave Joyce on March 15.

Dave is a friend of our military servicemembers and veterans. Dave consistently takes action to support our veterans and hold the government accountable. Dave ensures our national security and sits on the House Appropriations Committee.

Vote for Dave and keep America safe.

Vote for Spidalieri

I am voting to keep Ralph Spidalieri our county commissioner because he has kept his promise.

As our county commissioner, Ralph Spidalieri has:

  • Prevented any tax increase
  • Reduced the county’s long-term debt by 45 percent
  • Led the fight against the heroin and the monopoly seeking to legalize marijuana
  • Fought to strengthen our county’s law enforcement
  • Said “NO” to more government housing projects
  • Kept his promise to support our Veterans and build a new Veterans facility
  • Ralph Spidalieri is NOT a political yes-man or a puppet.
  • Ralph Spidalieri holds to his Republican principles and keeps his promises.

That is why I am voting to keep Ralph Spidalieri our county commissioner.

Ryan Battles
City of Chardon

Re-Elect Spidalieri

I am asking the voters of Geauga County to re-elect Ralph Spidalieri for Geauga county commissioner.

Ralph is a business owner in Geauga County whose company pays Geauga County taxes. His businesses employ many people in Geauga County that pay county taxes. That revenue helps provide services for Geauga County.

Ralph was the first commissioner to step up and work to develop a plan to help reduce heroin epidemic in Geauga County. He worked with various county agencies and general public to combat this epidemic.

Four years ago, Geauga County was looking at a deficit now there is a surplus of dollars in Geauga County. That speaks volumes. Ralph’s approach to reducing government while improving service has worked and will continue to work. Others talk about what they will do where Ralph has already demonstrated what he gets done.

Ralph has worked to make sure parks can be utilized for all Geauga County residents, not just a few who only want parks used for their own agenda. The parks are for all residents. We all paid taxes for them and we all should be able to use them. Over 20 percent of Geauga County land is currently protected buy conservation easements and parks. That is more than enough green acreage for residents to be able to use.

Spidalieri is a conservative with no nonsense approach to reduce government, reduce spending while provide best services available to the Geauga County residents. Ralph is committed to work for Geauga County residents.

Other candidates would like to have NOACCA dictate how county should run. I disagree, as I am sure most residents do. Geauga County should be run by Geauga County residents and a good commissioner like Ralph Spidalieri.

It’s a clear choice to see who has values and leadership for Geauga County.

Please re-elect Ralph Spidalieri to Geauga County Commissioner on March 15 the values that will continue to make Geauga County a great place to live and raise a family.

First Amendment

Not long ago our County Commissioners were asked to support the appointment of Jared Tudor as the Dean of the Kent State Geauga Campus in Burton. Jared has been a strong supporter of local Geauga schools and our communities.

To be clear, I work at Kent State Geauga for Jared Tudor. Unfortunately, Commissioner Ralph Spidalieri apparently had an issue with me and chose to try to hold Jared accountable for what I contribute on my own time to local political dialogue and news.

Mr. Spidalieri stated to members of the staff in the county offices that he “could not support a person that cannot control his employees” or words to that effect when asked about supporting Jared as Dean.

I’ve asked Mr. Spidalieri if he has the right as a Commissioner to prevent employees of the county off the clock in their own homes from speaking about issues in the local news in violation of their right to free speech. I have asked him if, as an employer at Great Lakes Outdoors, he can prevent his employees from commenting on social and societal issues when they are in their own homes. To date, Mr. Spidalieri has refused to respond.

As we approach the March primary election, I urge people to strongly consider their vote when they go to the polls no matter who they are voting for. Consider that a man who thinks employees can and should be controlled and prevented from exercising their First Amendment right to free speech when they have a different point of view than their employer holds a high office in the county, and what that means for the people of our county when he decides that people need to be controlled if they disagree with him or his friends.

Elect McArthur Commissioner

It is my honor to write in support of Nancy McArthur for Geauga County commissioner.

Over the past six years, I have had the opportunity to get to know Nancy and see her as an active community leader. We first met at a meeting about the importance of the arts in regards to economic development within a community. Since that time, it has been clear to me that Nancy cares about Geauga County and its growth.

With 15 years experience in community involvement and over 10 years of public service, I believe Nancy has shown that she is committed to the region. I believe her vast experience, which includes a variety of business roles as well as public service, has made her knowledgeable about how to work effectively with other officials to accomplish results.

I respect Nancy’s genuine concern for her community and have admired her consistent support of the arts. I have found her to be a dedicated and a hard worker. As a resident of the City of Chardon, I have appreciated her focus on economic development.

Thank you for your consideration of Nancy McArthur for Geauga County Commissioner and I ask that you vote for her on March 15.

Easy to Criticise, Courage to Act

As a constitutional scholar, I appreciate the right of Ms. Shelley Chernin, a fairly recent Cleveland Heights area to Russell transplant, to criticize, criticize and criticize.

But, the true facts are important.

Roy Podojil suddenly and unexpectedly resigned from the Russell Township Park Board. The third board member was out of the state and not expected to return until March.

The Russell Park Board needed two members in Russell to conduct its business. Bills have to be paid, funds must be properly accounted for and decisions must be made timely.

Charlie Butters was the only person to submit a letter to the court expressing his interest in completing the last year of Mr. Podojil’s term. The court had to make a quick decision so that the board could take the necessary actions.

Mr. Butter’s initiative and his willingness to step up immediately and help after Mr. Podojil’s sudden and unexpected departure were the impetus for his appointment.

Ms. Chernin did not submit a letter of interest or make any inquiry with the court with respect to the recent Russell Township Park Board vacancy.

As my mother taught me, it is easy to criticize, but it takes courage to act.

Anyone interested in serving on the Russell or Chester park boards in the future should submit a letter to the court for consideration when a board vacancy arises.

Thoughts

As an elected Chester G Precinct member, I have witnessed firsthand Nancy McArthur’s lack of Integrity, leadership and great division of our Republican Party, very sad.

I believe in listening to and considering diverse points of views. I find it very troubling that Nancy McArthur, currently Geauga GOP chairwoman and candidate for County Commissioner, has demonstrated intolerance for people who disagree with her.

As evidence, she has recruited and circulated election petitions for individuals to run against certain incumbent precinct representatives that she doesn’t like, including me, along with as many as 15 others. Her slate even includes people who are not registered Republicans.

I believe Geauga needs leaders who can unify individuals who represent diverse opinions and ideas. Nancy McArthur is not such a person. I chuckle as I sit and read the “Letter’s to the Editor,” which are written by those Nancy McArthur has deceived to run for central committee against those of us who want to speak our minds. It appears she may have even wrote her own letters; refer to Maple Leaf “Spidalieri Hurting Geauga” submitted the by Mary O’Toole, dated Feb. 25, and Geauga Times Courier “Restore County Oversight,” submitted by Gary Broska. Word for word letters different titles. Please don’t be deceived by Nancy McArthur.

My vote for county commissioners will be for Ralph Spidalieri, who has reduced the county budget, took a stance against heron and displays common sense, and Tim Lennon, a young Republican with strong family values, common sense and no political influences. These are two local businessmen with Integrity.

Lisa Cavasinni

Lack of Leadership, Integrity

As a member of the Geauga GOP central committee, I have experienced Nancy McArthur‘s lack of leadership and integrity. As the chair of the Geauga County GOP, she has the responsibility to unite, yet, her conduct is divisive. For example:

  • Ms. McArthur unilaterally closed otherwise “open” meetings to exclude other Republicans.
  • Ms. McArthur voted to pass bylaws then asked to violate the same bylaws.
  • As chair of the central committee, Ms. McArthur personally recruited and circulated petitions of non-Republicans to run against incumbents.

Is this who we want as our county commissioner?

The incumbent Ralph Spidalieri is a man of principles. He is a business man and a strong supporter of the second amendment. As a former police officer, he understands the problems of drug and crime in our county.

Tim Lennon, a bright young newcomer to politics is running for the second commissioner’s seat. He is a fiscal conservative, a businessman, a young man with strong family values and the future of Geauga County.

Vote for leadership and integrity. Vote Ralph Spidalieri and Tim Lennon.

‘Need I Say More’

Let the truth be told.

It is past time to stop the lies, manipulation and deception regarding Nancy McArthur.

As the Chair of the Geauga GOP, she went behind the backs of nearly 30 percent of the elected officials of the Geauga Republican Central Committee and personally, randomly recruited individuals to run against existing precinct Committee members — individuals who are responsibly representing their constituents when they question her conduct and refuse to rubber stamp her self-serving agenda.

Additionally, she sent out an email blast on Jan. 22, 2016, to numerous recipients with the following request: “If you (or anyone you know) is willing to write letters to the editor on behalf of either me and/or Blake Rear for our County Commissioner races, please let us know” . . . “we can make . . . suggestions or edits before the letters are published.”

This is fact and for the benefit of the editor I have attached the email as evidence.

In the newspapers published in the week of Feb. 22, there were numerous letters praising these individuals. However, the scheme of the GOP Chair came to light when two different individuals submitted letters to two different newspapers yet the words of the two letters are identical.

Need I say more? These are not statements of truth they are manufactured fiction intended to influence and manipulate voters. This demonstrates a lack of high moral values and overall integrity.

Is this the type of person that you want serving our County as Commissioner or in any other role in Geauga? For that reason, I am endorsing Ralph Spidalieri and Tim Lennon for Commissioners for Geauga County.

JudicialVotesCount.org

Two weeks from today, Ohioans will vote in the 2016 primary election to determine the judicial candidates who will appear on the general election ballot.

JudicialVotesCount.org, a nonpartisan website that features biographies of court candidates running for judge, can assist voters. Launched in September, the website includes updated 2016 candidate information for Supreme Court, court of appeals, and common pleas court races. There are 145 seats up for election and more than 200 candidates on the ballot. County court candidates will be added after their filing deadline in August.

In addition to candidate bios, the website includes descriptions about what judges do and the duties of different courts and videos about how Ohio’s court system works. Candidates were also asked to describe their qualifications and their reasons for running for judge.

Finding this type of information in one place is crucial given results from a 2014 survey that found most Ohio voters don’t vote for judicial candidates because they don’t know enough about them.

Judicial Votes Count is a collaboration among the Ohio State Bar Association, the League of Women Voters of Ohio, the Ohio Newspaper Association, the Ohio Association of Broadcasters, the Bliss Institute for Applied Politics at the University of Akron, which houses and maintains the website, and me.

I urge all voters to go to JudicialVotesCount.org to become better educated in order to cast an informed vote for judge.

Ask McArthur

How can you start with $850, spend almost $3,000 and end up with $7,600?

Ask Nancy McArthur, because that is what she said on her campaign finance report submitted in late January 2016 to account for her 2015 expenses in her run for Geauga County Commissioner.

Further, how could such an obviously incomplete, erroneous report be acceptable to the Geauga County Board of Elections? Is it possible when one has friends within that office?

Because of these irregularities, two campaign law violation complaints are pending against Nancy McArthur and have been set for hearing before the Ohio Board of Elections.

Honesty? Integrity? Years of governmental, business and community service?

Apparently not.

For these reasons I enthusiastically support Commissioner Ralph Spidalieri for reelection.

Keep Bainbridge Safe

Bainbridge Township has not had an approved levy for the police department since 2007. So now is time to once again properly fund and continue to support our police department by voting “Yes” on Issue 3.

The fact the police department has operated without seeking additional operational funds for almost a decade and until last November, despite the township’s growth over that time, speaks volumes to its efficiency and effectiveness.

Bainbridge Township has grown to approximately 12,000 residents and seen significant growth in its retail and commercial businesses over recent years. A strong and competent police force contributes to the continued vitality of a community, starting with maintaining property values and ending with protecting the health, safety and welfare of the lives of all who live and visit our community.

Although the police department remains daily vigilant, it is seeing a rise in certain crimes that see our community as an opportunity due to our affluent setting. One example of this is the increase in property crimes due to persons that need to seek fast money to support their heroin addiction. Continuing its law enforcement education within the schools and community, as well as maintaining and adding to its current personnel, will assist to fight the rise of these crimes and other crimes that increase when a community grows and thrives.

The 2-mill continuing police levy would generate $1.058 million annually to provide funds necessary to keep the police department running efficiently and add two, much needed, police officers. The cost to an owner of a $100,000 home will be $70.00 annually.

It is anticipated with continued good leadership that the proceeds of Issue 3 will allow the police department to continue to run efficiently for the next 10 years.

Please join us, Bainbridge Township Trustees, in supporting our police department by voting “Yes” on Issue 3. Keep Bainbridge safe.

Proud to Support McArthur

I have had the great pleasure of knowing Nancy McArthur since her first election to Chardon City Council. She has subsequently served as Vice Mayor and Mayor. Chardon Council has provided exceptional service to the community during these challenging years. Chardon is financially sound and well run. Nancy deserves much credit for her efforts here.

Nancy is smart, conservative and dedicated. She is not afraid to stand up for her beliefs or for her constituents.

She is now seeking the Republican nomination as Geauga County Commissioner and deserves our consideration and vote. I am proud to support and vote for her.

Experience, Integrity and Justice

We are writing this letter to endorse Common Pleas Judge candidate Carolyn Paschke.

Carolyn has been a dedicated public servant who we are confident will continue to serve the residents of Geauga County when elected for Judge in the Common Pleas Court.

We grew up with Carolyn, attended the same high school and continue our friendship with her and her family. With our children, we have been able to become closer with Carolyn and her family through our parish community and school of St Helen.

We have witnessed and we value her commitment and ability to making right decisions. We believe that Carolyn has the judicial temperament, devotion, energy and disposition for this job.

Carolyn genuinely cares for others and gives her time and talents for their benefit. Carolyn works as hard as she possibly can to protect the integrity of the residents of our county. She is knowledgeable, honest, experienced and fair.

We sincerely support her candidacy and hope you will join us in voting for Carolyn Paschke on March 15.

Be Vigilant March 15

Republicans in Geauga County need to be vigilant come March 15.

The Good Old Boys Club is still alive and in control of the Republican Party. Many of them donate to Democrats and cut deals with Democrats for appointments to high paying jobs such as the one that just took place Feb. 3 at the Board of Elections. Look at the new hires and you will see what I mean.

The Central Committee Chair Nancy McArthur knows no boundaries whatsoever and has zero integrity and will do and say anything to get her way. She claims to be a leader and get things done, but the reality is she has divided the Republican Party even further than I had thought possible. She has no leadership skills.

What do you think she will do if she is elected to be County Commissioner?

She has actively gone out and targeted long-time sitting Central Committee people that have represented the people in their precincts. She even went as far to fabricate stories about why many have to be replaced and then circulated petitions for some of the people she has recruited.

Ms. McArthur and Mr. Rear have gone as far to write letters for people to submit on their behalf. I am only telling you factually information. Two letters to different papers are identical, but submitted by two different people. Really?

Vote Ralph Spidalieri and Tim Lennon for County Commissioners. Chardon Precinct D, Matthew Creech.

All these are true Republicans that care about Geauga County and whom are all honest and have integrity and speak the truth.

It’s time to return the Party back to true Conservatives with Integrity, honesty and truthfulness.

McArthur, Rear Have My Vote

I have heard many people say they are so consumed with the presidential race, they are not informed about local politics. Leadership in our community is very important. That is why I have learned about the candidates for Geauga County Commissioners and will vote for Nancy McArthur and Blake Rear.

McArthur is running against incumbent Ralph Spidalieri in the primary election on March 15. Nancy is currently the Mayor of Chardon and was voted Chair of the Republican party. She has five years experience on the Chardon Planning Commission and six years on Chardon City Council.

Nancy also has professional experience in the legal and financial areas of business. She plans to be a full-time commissioner and is known as a hard worker. She wants to serve the whole county. I know from my 17 years as a Geauga County employee that the county commissioners’ job covers all aspects of the community and is very demanding. Go to www.nancymcarthur.com to learn more.

McArthur’s opponent, Ralph Spidalieri has not been able to give the time needed to be an effective county commissioner. He owns four retail stores. After his election as county commissioner, Spidalieri proposed meeting once per week instead of twice. Spidalieri missed nine of the 57 commissioners meetings last year. Of the 18 boards/committees that require appointment of a county commissioner, Spidalieri only serves on those that require all three commissioners.

Blake Rear has been a county commissioner since 2013. Prior to this he served on many boards throughout the county. In his three years, he has given full-time hours as a commissioner. He is devoted to the community and has demonstrated great integrity and responsibility. Go to www.blakerear.com to learn more.

Not Room in Her Tent

I would prefer to write a letter to the editor supporting a candidate. Here in Geauga County, we have a surfeit of candidates who would make excellent Geauga County Commissioners. Tim Lennon and Ralph Spidaleri are two such conservative candidates who will keep our county strong.

Unfortunately, I cannot lend my support to Nancy McArthur.

As a member of the Republican Central Committee, I have firsthand knowledge of how Mrs. McArthur could function as a commissioner in Geauga County. Mrs. McArthur made it her personal mission to rid the GOP Central Committee of elected Central Committee members she disagreed with. Not only did she call to enlist people to run against those she disliked, she took out the petitions, got the required signatures and submitted them in her name. Not all of those she got to run are even registered Republicans.

When Mrs. McArthur made the unilateral decision to close a Central Committee meeting and forcibly remove non-committee members, the Central Committee was served with a lawsuit.

Mrs. McArthur said she would unite the Republican Party in Geauga County. She says we need to have a big tent. Obviously there is not room in her tent for those she disagrees with.

Energetic Business Man

I am writing this letter in my support of Tim Lennon a lifelong resident and family man here in Geauga County. Tim is a hard working self owned business man here in Geauga County who sells construction equipment to other hard working business people in our same County He is not a politician. Tim is an honest and fair Republican with conservative values, who knows the obstacles that face many businesses in this harsh economic environment. Tim Lennon is personally familiar with the hard work, long hours and financial risks that business people take when starting and operating a going concern. He is familiar with our Counties needs and growing concerns and is now offering to share his energies to help our County grow, while keeping the values that so many of us share and fear losing. Tim Lennon will accomplish these things while not growing government, not doing this to advance someone’s political career. He will strive for a smaller less intrusive government, while being supportive and strengthening law enforcement.

This breath of fresh air, a non politician will do this, because he loves Geauga County.

Record of Judicial Fairness

Please accept this letter as our sincere endorsement of Carolyn Paschke for Common Pleas Judge for Geauga County.

We have been residents of Auburn Township since 2011 and consider it a great privilege to live and raise our family in Geauga County.

Over the past seven years, we have had the opportunity to witness first-hand the passion and dedication that Carolyn Paschke puts into everything that she does. We have come to know Carolyn through her involvement in many activities at our church and children’s school and have always been impressed by her warm smile, enthusiasm, and deep commitment to her community. Her honesty, fairness, and well- thought out approach to dealing with any situation are characteristics that we admire and respect. Certainly these are the traits needed to serve as Judge.

Additionally, Carolyn has a proven record of judicial fairness in her current role as Magistrate where she has ruled on more than 100 cases since 2013. She is the only candidate that has this necessary experience. Prior to being appointed Magistrate by Judge Burt and Judge Fuhry, Carolyn owned and ran her own law practice in Geauga County for 17 years. During those years, she tried numerous cases throughout Northeast Ohio.

Carolyn embodies the strong sense of community, deep rooted family values, and hard-working professionalism that is representative of Geauga County residents.

It is our honor to endorse Carolyn Paschke for Common Pleas Judge. We hope you will join us in casting your vote for Carolyn Paschke on March 15.

Qualified, Experienced

I am sending you this email about my long-time friend and colleague Carolyn Paschke.

As you have hopefully seen by now, through signs posted all throughout the County, she is running for Judge in the Court of Common Pleas.  I wanted to take an opportunity to reach out to all of you, if you haven’t decided on a candidate, to humbly ask that you strongly consider voting for her as I am going to this coming March 15 in the Republican Primary.

Carrie is a long time member of this community and is committed to our County. She has lived in this area for most of her life and is dedicated to her family, friends, church, school work and community,

Carrie has over 20 years of legal experience in our local community. She is by far the best qualified and most experienced candidate.

She has been a Magistrate since 2013. As a Magistrate she manages a caseload, runs a courtroom, hears cases and has issued over 100 decisions on cases in the very court she is running for Judge.

Prior to taking the bench as a magistrate, she managed her own law firm and practiced law and tried cases in numerous courts throughout Northeast Ohio for 17 years.

I feel that she would be an invaluable asset as Judge not only to the Court of Common Pleas but the community as well by honestly and fairly deciding cases while treating those who appear before her with dignity and respect as she does with everyone she encounters.  She is level headed and calm and firm in her Judicial integrity as a Magistrate which I have no doubt will carry over to her Judicial integrity if elected as Judge.

I am honored to call her friend and I truly hope that you will give her careful consideration when marking your ballots.
