Volunteer for UH Hospice

University Hospitals Hospice is seeking compassionate men and women to join its team as a volunteer. Hospice volunteers visit patients in nursing homes, UH hospitals or patients’ homes near their community, providing companionship, supportive presence or practical assistance. They do not provide hands on physical care.

Volunteers enjoy flexible scheduling, with choice for days, evenings or weekend service. Individual, couples and military veterans are encouraged to find out more about volunteering options.

The next training series will be offered at UH Home Care Services in Warrensville Heights beginning on April 7 from 6-9 p.m. For more information, call Patsy Brodie at 216-765-2737.
