Choir Earns Excellent Rating
On March 12, Newbury High School choir students traveled to Mentor High School to perform in OMEA District VII Large Group Adjudicated Event.
Large group is an opportunity for students to perform three memorized pieces as a group in front of a panel of judges for a rating and critique. Students also took part in a rigorous sight-reading portion that was judged and rated separately and watched performances of other Cleveland area high schools.
Newbury High School choir received a rating of “Excellent” for their performance at Mentor.
