Levert, et al., Case No: 16-F-000143, against the above-named parties, praying that the premises hereinafter described be sold for the collection of delinquent real estate taxes, owed and unpaid, is Twenty Five Thousand Four Hundred Sixty Six Dollars and Thirty One Cents ($25,466.31) together with accruing taxes, assessments, penalties, interest and charges; as well as court costs.

The object of the action is to obtain from the Court a judgment foreclosing the tax liens against such real estate and ordering the sale of such real estate for the satisfaction of delinquent taxes.
Such action is brought against the real property only and no personal judgment shall be entered in it. However, if pursuant to the action, the property is sold for an amount that is less than the amount of delinquent taxes, assessments, charges, penalties and interest against it, the Court, in a separate order, may enter a deficiency judgment again the owner of record of a parcel for the amount of the difference; if that owner of record is a corporation, the Court may enter the deficiency judgment against the stockholder holding a majority of the corporation’s stock.
The above-named parties are required to answer on or before twenty-eight (28) days after the last date of publication. Such answer must be filed with the Clerk of Courts, and a copy must be served on the Prosecuting Attorney.

Selection of Public Depository –
Geauga County
Pursuant to Section 135.33 of the Ohio Revised Code (Public Depositories for County Funds) the Board of Commissioners will accept applications from eligible institutions desiring to be a public depository for the County of Geauga. The Treasurer of the County of Geauga has estimated the aggregate amount of public moneys that might be available for deposit as active moneys at any time during the next four year period October 12, 2016 to October 12, 2020 is Seventy-Five Million Dollars ($75,000,000.00).
The application shall state the maximum amount of public moneys that the institution desires to receive and have on deposit at any time, shall include a financial statement of the applicant which shall specify its public and non-public funds, shall specify all service charges to be charged to the County which must be in accordance with Section 135.33(B) of the Ohio Revised Code, and shall be submitted under oath of its cashier, treasurer or other officer. Applicants must abide by all provisions of Section 135.33 and 135.35 of the Ohio Revised Code or any other provisions of the Ohio Revised Code pertaining to public depositories.
Applications must be received in the Office of the Board of Commissioners, County of Geauga, 470 Center Street, Building #4, Chardon, Ohio 44024, no later than 2:00 p.m. September 7, 2016. Applications must be clearly marked “Application of Public Depository”.
The Board shall designate the public depository (ies) of active moneys for the next succeeding four-year period at its regular session on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at or after 9:00 a.m.
