M. Jeanne Patterson
CONCORD TWP. – M. Jeanne Patterson, age 89, of Concord Township, a homemaker, passed away Dec. 28, 2016, at her home.
Born July 24, 1927, in Cleveland, she had been a longtime Lake County resident.
Jeanne worked for Dr. Raymond O’Leary while she was a junior and senior at Shaw High School. She then worked at Penton Publishing Co. until her marriage to Keith A. Patterson Sr., on Jan. 16, 1947. He preceded her in death on Oct. 29, 1990.
Along with her husband, she lived for a year in Alberta, Canada, and a year in Needles, Calif., working for Keith’s family. They both loved Old English Sheepdogs and had 16 of them over the years.
She was an active member of the Brentmoor Garden Club for 40 years.
Jeanne is survived by her children Cynthia Patterson, of London, England, Jill (Chuck) Bangerter, of Kirtland, and Steven (Kathryn), of Burton; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Bea Bassett, of Mentor; and daughter-in-law, Debbie Patterson, of Mentor.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith; son Keith A. Patterson Jr.; and step-sister, Ellie Bergem.
A private family service was held.
