Fairmount Spring Registration

Registration for Fairmount Center for the Arts’ spring session is now open. Classes begin March 20.

Fairmount offers programming in art, dance, fitness, music and youth theatre.

Pipes and Drums Concert

March 16, 6 p.m.

Red Hackle Pipes and Drums and Crooked River Fifes and Drums will perform a free concert at the Hamlet Village Atrium, 200 Hamlet Hills Drive in Chagrin Falls. Refreshments will be provided.

The program is free and open to the public. Call Karen to reserve, 440-247-7715.

Area High School Spring Musicals

Local high schools are offering spring musical productions. Tickets for the following productions may be purchased at the door or ahead of time by contacting each school. Information was provided by the Geauga Council for Arts and Culture.

Berkshire High School: “Cinderella,” April 28 and 29, 7 p.m. and April 30, 2 p.m. Directed by Jim Lester.

Cardinal High School: “Sound of Music,” March 17 and 18, 7:30 p.m. and March 19, 3 p.m. Directed by Josh Esenwine.

Chardon High School: “Les Miserables,” March 16-18, 7 p.m. and March 19, 2 p.m. Directed by Fritz Streiff.

Kenston High School: “Footloose,” March 24 and 25, 7 p.m. and March 26, 2 p.m. Directed by Steven Hoffman.

Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin: “My Fair Lady,” March 2-5, 7 p.m. Directed by Shirley Ivancic Stall.

 

Ovations, an awards evening sponsored by Geauga Council for Arts and Culture to honor the work of the schools, will be held at 7 p.m. May 9 at Geauga Theater in Chardon.
