Fairmount Center for the Arts announces the 41st annual Fairmount Art Exhibition to be held May 28 through June 8 at 8400 Fairmount Road in Russell Township. Judging will be held on May 24. Artists of Northeast Ohio are invited to submit artwork on May 23, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Entry fee is $15 per piece, with a three piece maximum. Call 440-338-3171 for entry forms or download them at www.fairmountcenter.org. Call Fairmount for a description of competition categories, specific rules and entry requirements.
The exhibition and special events are free and open to the public. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and until 8 p.m. on Thursdays. Weekend hours are 1 to 5 p.m.
The opening reception is May 27, from 6:30-9 p.m., with an awards ceremony at 7:30 p.m.
