The elementary school division of Middlefield Historical Society’s 34th annual Invitational Student Art Show will be on display for public viewing at 14979 South State Ave. Participants include Berkshire, Cardinal, Chardon and Newbury schools. All work is professionally judged.

Free Spring Concert
May 18, 7:30-8:30 p.m.
The Lake Effect Concert Band will present a free spring concert of music by American composers at Newbury High School, 14775 Auburn Road.
The Lake Effect Concert Band is a community-based adult ensemble that performs under the sponsorship of the Snowbelt Musical Arts Association (SMAA) and direction of conductor and educator Greg Hillis.
The family-friendly event is free and open to all. Donations are always appreciated.
