Benefit Choir Recruiting Voices
It is time again for the voices of the Good Tiding Benefit Choir to come together to raise spirits and funds for the Geauga Hunger Task Force. This year marks the choir’s 30th anniversary and the last Easter program produced by the Juhasz family.
All practices are held Sundays, from 2-4 p.m., at Notre Dame Chapel, 13000 Auburn Road, Munson Township. Practices start Feb. 24 and continue until the performances on April 7 and 14. Soloists are chosen from the choir members through auditions.
The choir is open to high school age and above. Students receive community service hours for their participation.
Participants may bring their own copy of Handel’s “Messiah” or purchase through local music stores. There will be copies available at the practices for approximately $8.
