Messiah Choir Returns to Benefit Food Pantries
April 7 and 14, 3 p.m.
The Good Tidings Benefit Choir will continue its legacy of raising spirits and funds for the Geauga Hunger Task Force by performing the Easter sections of GF Handel’s “Messiah” at Notre Dame Chapel, 13000 Auburn Road in Munson Township.
All attendees will be invited to join in the Hallelujah chorus.
The performances are free, but a goodwill offering will be taken.
The choir is under the direction of Robert Boles and accompanied by Joy Leirer. The program will include musicians and soloists from the area.
Fairmount Center Speaker Series
April 7, 3 p.m.
Fairmount Center for the Arts will hold its fourth in its lineup of speaker series with “All Access Cleveland: The Rock & Roll Photography of Janet Macoska.” Hear the stories behind some of the most award-winning iconic rock and roll moments ever captured by rock and roll photographer Janet Macoska as she takes you behind the photos and stories shared in her book “All Access Cleveland.
The free, community event will be held at the center located at 8400 Fairmount Road in Russell Township. The series is designed for adults, but is family-friendly. Refreshments are provided.
