The Geauga Arts Network Group (GANG) welcomes musician and composer Marc Yanko to its monthly meeting at Heinen’s Café, 402 Center St. in Chardon.

A resident of Chardon, Marc will be performing his original works as well as standard folk tunes. He will also discuss the process of composing instrumental pieces for acoustic guitar.

The program is free and open to the public. Audience participation is welcome.

Burton Public Library is looking for entries for the 36th annual Burton Art Show to be held Oct. 1-13 at the Burton Public Library. Artists 16 years and older who live, work or attend school in Geauga, Lake or Portage counties are invited to submit their work to the library located at 14588 W. Park St., Burton.

Entry fee is $10 per item or $25 for three items. Artists may submit up to three items.

Entry forms are available at all public libraries and also online at burtonlibrary.org.
