GANG Takes a Field Trip

The Geauga Arts Network Group (GANG) program will be held at the Artisans’ Corner Gallery, 11110 Kinsman Road in Newbury Township.
Director Monica Glasscock will provide a guided tour of the gallery, which includes works by several artists who have been GANG members and/or featured artists over the past 16 years. Monica will remain on hand to greet attendees and answer questions.
The educational GANG program is free and open to the public, and will be the perfect opportunity to become acquainted with artists and art lovers from Geauga County and beyond. Refreshments will be served.

Words and Wine
Feb. 19, 6:30 p.m.
Words and Wine, a poetry reading series, will feature poet and writer Tobin Terry, professor of English at Lakeland Community College, at the Steele Mansion in Painesville.
Open mic will precede his reading. The free event is open to the public.

Fairmount Speaker Series
Feb. 23, 3 p.m.
Fairmount Center for the Arts continues its “Pull Back the Curtain” speaker series with colored pencil artist Mandy Peltier. Ms. Peltier will talk about her creative journey, process and inspirations in this artist talk.
Attendees will also be able to view the Fairmount Faculty Art Show now on display through Feb. 29.
The series is designed for adults, but is family-friendly. Refreshments are provided. Reservations are not required, but requested by calling 440-338-3171 or emailing info@fairmountcenter.org.
