In 1990, Nestlé, a Swiss multinational food and beverage company, bought Baby Ruth and Butterfinger from RJR Nabisco. This candy bar has been going strong ever since.
Butterfingers are one of my favorite candy bars and I use them for many desserts.

BUTTERFINGER PIE
Ingredients:
1 graham cracker pie crust
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
12 oz. cool whip, thawed
7 (2.1 oz.) Butterfinger candy bars, crushed
INSTRUCTIONS:
Combine softened cream cheese, cool whip and six crushed Butterfingers. Spoon into prepared graham cracker crust. Top with remaining crushed Butterfingers. Chill at least 4 hours.
Note: I always use 1 quart of whipped heavy cream with 1/2 cup granulated sugar and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla instead of Cool Whip as it holds up better in refrigerator.
