The following dogs are available for adoption at the Geauga County Dog Shelter, 12513 Merritt Road, Claridon Township. For more information on pet adoption, call the shelter at 440-279-2180.
Shelter hours are: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; closed Thursday. The shelter is in need of 6-foot leashes, industrial strength disinfectant spray, soft chewy treats, canned and dry dog food, and treats (Milk bone type).
The shelter is always looking for
volunteers, trainers and foster homes, and those interested in being a cage sponsor.
