Geauga Beef and Swine

The Geauga Beef and Swine 4-H Club met on Aug. 16 at 4 p.m. at the Schoolhouse Building at the Geauga County Fairgrounds. Club members voted for this year’s fair king and queen.

With fair getting closer, club members have several upcoming activities to help get everything ready. On Aug. 20 at 5 p.m., they will participate in the beef barn cleanup. On Aug. 22 at 8 a.m., members will help with the lamb and hog barns setup.

The club’s fair barn setup will be Aug. 30 at 10 a.m. A club meeting and potluck will follow.

Members are excited to work together to get everything ready for the 2026 Great Geauga County Fair, which will be held Sept. 3 through Sept. 7. This year’s junior fair theme is “United We Show with Jr. Fair” in celebration of America’s 250th birthday.

Club members can’t wait for fair to be here and are looking forward to a fun and successful fair.
