Geauga Lyric Theater Guild elementary musical workshop production will be “No Strings Attached,” a musical adaptation of the “Adventures of Pinocchio.”
The six-week program for youth ages 6-12 is designed to expose students to basic performance skills and concepts, culminating in a live show open to the public.
“No Strings Attached” will run July 24 and 25 at 7 p.m. and July 26 at 2 p.m. All seats are $6.

The historic Geauga Theater is located at 101 Water St. in Chardon.

Poetry readings will be Aug. 5 at Your Vine or Mine? located at 154 Main St. in Painesville.
Open mic at 6:30 p.m. will be followed by featured poet John Burroughs, the founding editor of “Crisis Chronicles Press” and the “Crisis Chronicles” cyber lit mag.
