Fairmount Fall Classes
Fairmount Center for the Arts’ 2014 fall session starts in less than one week and there is still time to register for any of the many classes, workshops and private lessons in art, dance, music, theater and fitness for students ages 18 months to adults.
The fall session is broken into two seven-week sessions. Fall I begins Sept.1, but classes do not begin until Sept. 2 due to the holiday, and ends Oct. 19. Session II begins Oct. 20 and ends Dec. 7.

Words and Wine
Grace Curtis, of Waynesville, Ohio, will be returning as the featured poet for Words and Wine Sept. 2 at Your Vine or Mine? located at 154 Main St. in Painesville. Open mic at 6:30 p.m. precedes her reading.

Fall Classes at GLTG
Registration for classes in performing and visual arts at the Geauga Lyric Theater Guild is open for the fall session, which runs through late December.
There is a wide range of options for youth and adults interested in singing, acting, drawing and fairy gardening. The fall roster includes several drama classes for home-school students as well as an Intergenerational Reader’s Theater. The Geauga Gems show choir group will split into two age groups as they host a holiday concert Dec. 15 at the Geauga Theater.
