Words And Wine poetry readings are held the first Tuesday each month at Your Vine or Mine?, 154 Main St. in Painesville. Open mic starts at 6:30 p.m.

The Jan. 6 meeting will feature Lake County sisters Mary Roulette and Ellen McHugh.

Fairmount Winter Registration

Registration for Fairmount Center for the Arts’ winter session is still open. The nonprofit art center is offering students of all ages classes, workshops and private instruction in art, dance, theater, music and fitness. The winter session runs Jan. 5 through March 15.
