“Around the World in 80 Days” Races to GLTG & Art Jam

June 27, 7:30 p.m.

On a bet, a madcap pair attempt to race around the world in only 80 days. Phileas Fog and his servant encounter many strange and wonderful adventures in this adaptation of Jules Verne’s classic novel.

Director Angela Miloro-Hansen decided to update the tale with a “steampunk” set and costumes, adding some topical fun to a well-known story. Actors include Erika Hansen, GLTG executive firector, and several local business people doing cameo performances. The community involvement is inspired by GLTG’s involvement in the Arts Jam, which will be held on Chardon Square beginning at noon and ending with “Around The World in 80 Days.”

Tickets to the show are only $6 and can be purchased at the GLTG box office, by phone at 440-286-2255 or online at www.geaugatheater.org.
