“The Fantasticks” a Hit at GLTG
Geauga Lyric Theater Guild is off to a good start in its 60th anniversary season with “The Fantasticks,” which continues its run through Sept. 28.
Directed by international playwright J.E. Ballantyne, the Tony Award winning show is the world’s longest running musical. It is about meddling fathers trying to control the relationships of their children, with an interfering cast of characters putting obstacles in the way of young love.
Friday and Saturday performances are at 8 p.m.; Sunday performances are at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $18 for adults, $15 for students and seniors, and a special rate of $10 for children ages 12 and under. They can be purchased through www.geaugatheater.org or by calling the box office at 440-286-2255.
Geauga Theater is located at 101 Water St. in Chardon.
