Bookem Danno Safety Day

The Geauga County Department on Aging is offering Bookem Danno July 31 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Chardon Senior Center, 12555 Ravenwood Drive. Sponsored and organized by Sheriff Dan McClelland and police chiefs from local Geauga County townships, the day is about senior safety.

Meet and talk with the people who protect seniors daily. Seniors will learn how to be proactive in protecting themselves, whether it is from scams, identity theft, banking or credit card fraudulent activity, or personal and home safety.

Cost is $5 per senior and includes a picnic and the program.

For more information, or to sign up for this or other events, call the Department on Aging at 440-279-2130. Space is limited.
